Welcome to my site!
\n<\/strong>I am interested in amateurradio since the early 70s and became a licenced radio amateur in 1975. At my QTH in Mainz I am active on the VHF, UHF and SHF bands. Because amateurradio is an international hobby and many visitors are not speaking German, I decided to use English only for this site.<\/td>\n		Willkommen auf meiner Seite!
\n<\/strong>Ich interessiere mich seit den fr\u00fchen 70ern f\u00fcr den Amateurfunk und wurde 1975 lizensierter Funkamateur. Von meinem QTH in Mainz aus bin ich auf den VHF-, UHF- und SHF- B\u00e4ndern aktiv. Da der Amateurfunk ein internationales Hobby ist und viele Besucher nicht deutsch sprechen, habe ich mich entschlossen, f\u00fcr diese Seite ausschlie\u00dflich englisch zu verwenden.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Active on 2 m, 70 cm, 23 cm, 13 cm, 3 cm and 1.2 cm.<\/p>\n

My favorite bands are 23 and 13 cm<\/p>\n

1.2 cm: 80 cm dish, 1 W<\/p>\n

3 cm:\u00a0 80 cm dish, 8 W \/ alternative: 50 cm dish, 2 W<\/p>\n

13 cm:\u00a0 3 m dish (ring feed), 75 W, 0.5 dB NF<\/p>\n

23 cm:\u00a0 3 m dish (ring feed), 200 W, 0.35 dB NF<\/p>\n

70 cm:\u00a0 15 element yagi (YU7EF), 200 W, 0.8 dB NF<\/p>\n

2 m:\u00a0 17 element yagi (F9FT), 250 W, 0.7 dB NF<\/p>\n

QSL policy:<\/span> I do not really collect QSLs, but will respond to every received QSL in the manner, I got it. No stamps or IRCs required. Logs will be uploaded to LOTW and eQSL. I tried German DCL (Direct Current Log, hi) and British Club Log too, but support for the microwave bands is between marginal and very poor. So don\u00b4t expect my logs to be uploaded there.<\/p>\n
